Continuing Education
Pharmaceutical Resource Network
has developed and refined a full programme of evidence based workshop packages
on priority prescribing topics for pharmacists, GPs and for multidisciplinary
primary care teams. These support implementation of the National Service Framework
programme and the new GP and Pharmacy contracts. We have also created and delivered a 5 day MUR Support Programme for
Community Pharmacists focusing specifically on the practical application of knowledge
and skills in the pharmacy.
All Pharmaceutical Resource Network programmes are interactive and they empower participants to deliver service developments in practice by combining clinical expertise with communication and influencing skills. Awareness is raised of practical issues in service delivery and tips and techniques are discussed to support change in practice.
Expert facilitators can be provided. Alternatively, individual packages can be hired for
presentation by local experts. Additionally, bespoke workshops, distance learning packages
and educational events tailored to client’s requirements can be commissioned.
